One of my favorite guilty pleasures is searching for quotes by a favorite author, artist or mentor. I love the process of discovering and reading until I uncover the “one” – the perfect quote that boils down a thought into a set of carefully chosen words that speak volumes and express exactly what I want to say.
The journey is very much the same for me when I photograph a child, a baby or a family, and the result is even more rewarding. I love the discovery process. I love the creation process. I adore being able to show a parent an image I’ve created, and hearing him tearfully tell me that I captured his child’s real personality – the je ne sais quoi that makes him or her intensely unique and beautiful.
I’m inspired – and most fulfilled – when I’m creating. When I am happiest, there is an insatiable urge inside me to create something beautiful. “Photographer” is just one of my job titles; I am also your Creative Partner, your Designer, your Family Historian. As a business owner, an artist, a mom and a wife, I am driven by a desire to take those intangible bits and pieces of your world and preserve them in the form of beautiful artwork that will bring you joy for many years to come.
